Humanitarian Donation and New Collaboration with the University Clinic for Pediatric Diseases - Mother Tereza

alternative On January 23, 2025, our humanitarian organization, "The Light of Life," officially strengthened its collaboration with the University Clinic for Pediatric Diseases by making a donation of 55,000 denars. Additionally, the organization has committed to providing financial support to cover medical expenses for children whose parents are unable to afford them.

Our dedicated volunteers and activists—Senad, Adem, Sultan, Emran, Sedat and Bajram —work tirelessly to spread kindness and provide support to those who need it the most—the children. Their efforts have been recognized by multiple healthcare institutions, underscoring the importance of our mission.

As part of this initiative, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the University Clinic for Pediatric Diseases and "The Light of Life" to further strengthen their collaboration and ensure continuous support for those in need.

The Acting Director of the clinic, Dr. Redzep Memedi, expressed his deep gratitude for this humanitarian initiative in his address and emphasized the significance of such partnerships in improving pediatric healthcare services.

The team at "The Light of Life" remains committed to its mission and will continue working diligently to facilitate even more donations in the future. The smiles and joy of those we help are our greatest motivation to carry on with the same energy, dedication, and noble purpose.

The organization "The Light of Life" has a project to help children who are in a serious health condition, who are sick with lung infections, with difficulty breathing, with disabilities, children who need physiotherapy, who need transport by vehicle, who have the need for wheelchairs and also which children need operations.

We as an organization will do everything in our power to help them. It is very important to us that our children have good health.

Purpose - Vision - Mission

The goal of the "Light of Life" organization is to enable citizens to become familiar with their human rights and to fight for a modest or good life. Also, the "Light of Life" organization set the following programs as main priority objectives:

We set the following programs as our main priority goals

Human rights and laws

This program provides information and counseling to vulnerable groups of persons regarding their human rights and relevant laws. It will be promoted at community meetings, schools and media. A feedback mechanism will be set up between students such as law enforcers and political authorities involved in implementing laws that govern human rights. Other activities are the publication of positive and negative experiences in relation to human rights.

Education

This sectoral program is aimed at developing educational programs that meet the needs of children, youth and adults. Access will be provided for children that are adaptable to different situations such as community, home or work centers. For young people, it will provide formal (in schools) and vocational courses. While for adults, the focus will be on literacy and learning various skills needed in life.

Healthcare

Promotion of preventive activities such as medical education of families and the community, which talks about hygiene, identification of infectious diseases and regular medical and dental mission.

Treatment activities will focus on providing medical assistance and referring patients to hospitals. Advocacy activities such as monitoring of hospital services will be implemented.

Employment

Ensuring equal opportunities for constitutional rights ie. equal representation of all nationalities in government political positions and employment. The educational component will refer to the understanding of civic roles and responsibilities in relation to democratization. Promoting partnership between government institutions and non-governmental organizations for better complementing and complementing programs and activities.

Fundraising

This will enable people to engage in fundraising activities that will increase their level of income for their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter. Cooperative programs (credits and consumption) will be introduced as a project.
